July 2010 – ASURiO has updated its CA-19 Form. The updated version is based on the AES forms that California has established as Fire Sprinkler Inspections forms to be used. The difference between the updated and previous forms is that they can now load multiple systems in one inspection, rather than having to create multiple jobs for each system. This means if the user has three risers at a site that they inspect, they can just select the standpipe inspection questions three times and the report will reflect all three risers. This is actually a very big improvement for our CA users. Our forms represent the layout of the CA-19 forms as required by the CA State Fire Marshalls.

June 2010 – Release of Windows Mobile and Tablet version 3.0.0.3 and testing of Windows Mobile Release 3.0.0.4 and Tablet Version 3.0.0.5. In response to customer feedback, some great new features include AspectExpert® enhancements, sorting on job item status and deficiency, and "Set Dates" functionality. Coming soon: user will be able to go directly from one device item to the next using the arrows within the questions screen.

May 2010 – Field Printing Updates (Field Printing of QUOTES now available). Speed, time, efficiency – these are the watchwords of business today.  The sooner a field technician can deliver a report to a customer, for example, the sooner a company can deliver an invoice – and therefore the sooner cash can flow back to your company.
Printing Quotes in the field with ASURiO’s Print Anywhere/Anytime® allows a field tech/inspector to leave the customer a quote for deficiency repair work before leaving the site, further expanding and expediting the inspection cycle.

April 2010 – ASURiO introduces the 2008 version of the NFPA 25 Fire Sprinkler form. This form contains the changes made in the NFPA 25 Standard for the Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Water-Based Fire Protection Systems.
If your inspection company is interested in using the NFPA 25 2008 version, you may choose an option which is most useful to you:

  • If you will be using both versions, we have the 2008 version available.
  • If you need to replace your 2002 version with 2008 version, we will provide this form as part of your Maintenance contract.

This includes:

  • Addition of a global universal manufacturers database, enabling inspection companies to both add to and draw from when using manufacturer bar codes
  • Group clone or delete – the ability to add/delete devices in groups by location, floor, building, etc.
