New Customer Self-Service Portal: ASURiO SSP®

BOULDER, Colorado, Feb. 22, 2010 – ASURiO Inspections Systems (www.asurio.com), a leading provider of inspections technology for the collection and management of data captured in the field to manage compliance, risk, and asset management, today announced a major new offering: ASURiO SSP®, a customer “Self-Service Portal” for management and publishing of inspection reports. The new ASURiO Self-Service Portal (ASURiO SSP®) is designed to optimize and improve the relationship between inspection companies and their customers. This offering is available now to ASURiO Mobile customers.
The ASURiO Self-Service portal is a secure, hosted, Web-based system that automatically publishes and stores the inspection reports of ASURiO customers in one central location. Inspection reports are stored and organized by inspection company branch office, customer, and site of inspection. By storing inspection reports in one convenient, secure, online location, inspection businesses can refer their customers directly to the portal, where their customers can log in with a user name and password, and access copies of their own inspection reports as needed. They also can communicate electronically via the portal with their inspection company to inquire about invoices, schedule inspections, or authorize repairs. This provides additional operational efficiencies for inspection businesses, which spend many hours of administrative time searching for old inspection reports and re-sending them to customers.
Customers benefit because they have 24/7 access to their own inspection information, in one, secure, easy-to-search location.
Specifically, ASURiO SSP® helps reduce administrative costs for inspections companies by letting customers access their own inspections reports online. ASURiO’s Self-Service Portal will provide the customers of inspections business with the following types of information:
- Past history of inspections at various locations;
- Pending inspections that already are scheduled;
- Inspections that yielded deficiency situations that require maintenance and/or repairs;
- Reprints of existing inspection reports;
- Electronic authorization for deficiency maintenance and/or repairs; and more.
In addition, the ASURiO Self-Service Portal functions as a tool for customers to schedule or re-schedule inspections, communicate with inspectors, and communicate with the contractor’s accounting department to streamline invoicing as opposed to phone calls, missed voicemails, etc.
