Determining routes using paper maps can be a slow and tedious process but the Visual Routing & Scheduling module configures the best schedules and routes for multiple vehicles automatically, within minutes, instead of hours. Scheduled stops are pulled from your work orders and matched with the person or vehicle best suited for the job. Each vehicle route is displayed on computer-generated, color maps. You see routes and schedules for customers, work orders and resources all on one main screen. Savings in route preparation time alone are a real advantage. But the Visual Routing module also automatically calculates the shortest distance between each stop, using real road mileage data. Field resources are given route manifests complete with turn-by-turn driving directions. The payback is fast – usually a matter of weeks!
